At The River, our “Streams” are small groups designed to build relationships within the local body of believers. We understand that attending service for only two hours a week is not what God intended for His Church. We need each other, and it is important that we love, share, grow and learn from one another.

Host A Stream

Interested in leading or hosting a Stream? We’d love to talk more with you. We believe that God equips those that he calls, so if you’ve felt God leading you this direction, don’t be afraid to reach out and take that first step.

 

Hosting a Stream Group is simple. Choose a topic or activity that interests you, and select a time and location to meet with others to share it either weekly or every other week. Most importantly, pray with and for your group.

 

We will give you the tools to make your Stream successful through leader training, mentoring, and promotion of your Stream. There are three basic types of groups: Activity-based, Service-based, and Study-based.

Follow-up & care makes sure that each member or visitor of The River is taken care of. We cover:
  • 1st Time Guest Follow-up
  • Pastor’s Breakfast
  • Hospitality/Meals

  • Pastoral Care Follow-up
  • Hospital/Jail/Home Bound Visitation
